Larimore "Larry" Echols Cole died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 28, 2010. She was born October 27, 1929 in Nashville, TN to the late William A. and Bertha Echols. She was married to Bob H. Cole in Alexandria, VA on October 26, 1951. She was baptized when she was 16 in Washington, D.C. and was presently a member of Southeastern Church of Christ in Indianapolis, IN where she had attended since 1975. She and Bob were foster parents to many children. She is survived by her husband and children, David R. Cole, Linda M. Kirschner, Emily A. Kello, David W. Cole, Michael T. Cole, Erik J. Cole; 13 grandchildren and 5 siblings. She was preceded in death by her son, John A. Cole in 1972; and a granddaughter, Rachel M. Cole, in 2007. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 3rd at 4 p.m. in Southeastern Church of Christ, 6500 Southeastern Avenue with visitation from 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Southeastern Childrens Homes or Southeastern Church Preschool.
