David T. Letsinger, 74, of Fountaintown, IN passed away July 20, 2010. He was born January 19, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William C. & Vonnie Letsinger. He was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and married Mary E. (Betty) Jacobs on October 27, 1956. David worked for Monarch Buick and Dave Waite Pontiac in auto service and Reid-Holcomb in heavy equipment repair before owning 2 Shell Service Stations in Indianapolis. In 1975, he opened Dave's Tire and Auto Service in Irvington and retired from there in 2009. He was widely known for his automotive diagnostic and repair abilities. He & Betty loved fishing in Lake Michigan on summer weekends. In addition to his wife, David is survived by two sons, Ronnie and Kenny; sisters Rosemary (John) Hague and Helen (William) Morgan; sister-in-law Sara Letsinger; granddaughters, Jaime Nicole & Danealle Letsinger; two great-grandsons.
