Dixie L. Lord, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Jewish Hospital & St. Mary's Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born January 13, 1951 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Ray G. and I. Joyce (Broady) Lord, Sr. Dixie was a private home health care provider and a former employee of Dillards in Louisville, Kentucky and a member of the christian faith. Survivors include three sisters: Beverly (Mike) Bagwell & Kathy (Darrell) Morris both of Austin, Indiana & Connie Lord of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends. Dixie was preceded in death by a brother: Ray G. (Tony) Lord, Jr. and a brother in law: Steve Bowling. Interment at Bethel Baptist Cemetery (Leota). Arrangements by: Collins Funeral Home.
