Dorothy B. Goens, 93,of Scottsburg, Indiana died Monday, March 29, 2010 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born October 25, 1916 in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of the late Guy and Lula (Reynolds) Penny. Dorothy was married to Loren M. Goens, who died on July 13, 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Providence Baptist Church in Austin, Indiana. Survivors include a daughter: Bonnie Fewell and a son: Bob Goens both of Scottsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren & two great great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother: Charles W. Penny. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Scott County Relay for Life c/o Collins Funeral Home.
