Ann R. Furey, 89, of Scottsburg, Indiana died Monday, April 26, 2010 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1920 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late William Martin and Mary Veronica (Reilly) Furey. Ann was married to Michael P. Furey, who died June 20, 1972. She was a former laborer for the old Copper's Company during WWII. She was a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and a former member of the Saint's Simon & Jude Catholic Church in West Jefferson, Ohio. Survivors include a daughter: Mary Ann Kerrigan of Scottsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by twelve siblings. Interment at Saint's Simon & Jude Catholic Cemetery West Jefferson, Ohio. Local arrangements by: Collins Funeral Home.
