Robert John Sztukowski, 82, of Scottsburg, Indiana died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1928 in Cudahy, Wisconsin, the son of the late Frank and Ceilia (Kaminski) Sztukowski. Robert was part owner of the old Sheridon Hotel in Cudahy, Wisconsin, a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and he served in WW II in the U.S. Army. Survivors include a son: Michael R. Sztukowski of Eagle, Wisconsin; two daughters: Joan Sztukowski of Jeffersonville, Indiana & Connie Sandlin of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sisters: Regina Buerger of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, Cecelia Bird of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin & Elaine Uttke of North Ft. Meyers, Florida; five grandchildren: Steven & Christopher Sztukowski, Jennifer & Meghan Sandlin & Tamara Boissonneault and two great grandchildren: Gage & Adam. Robert was preceded in death by a daughter: Carol Boissonneault; six brothers: Stanley, Frank, Ted, Eddie, Norbert & Jerome Sztukowski and two sisters: Sophie Wenglewski & Alice Ouick. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery. Arrangements by: Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
