Carolee Sandlin Stamper, 92, of Clarksville, Indiana died Monday, June 7, 2010 at Westminster Health Care Center in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born October 30, 1917 in Perry County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John E. and Dora (Johnson) Sandlin. Carolee sterilized instruments for surgery at the old Methodist Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and was of the baptist faith. Survivors include three daughters: Iva Wonder of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Bobbie Braden of Louisville, Kentucky & Janet (Pete) Begg of Jeffersonville, Indiana; a son: Roger (Betsy) Stamper of New Albany, Indiana and a sister: Mary Brough of Scottsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Carolee was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Stamper; eight brothers: Claude, Bert, Estil, John Jr., Joe, Fred, Ray & Roy Sandlin and a sister: Dora Robertson Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery.
