Lowell C. Swisher, 68, of Lexington, Indiana died Monday, June 14, 2010 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born May 14, 1942 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of the late Olan and Nola Swisher. Lowell was a retired fork lift operator for Champion Wood Products in Jeffersonville, Indiana for 25 years retiring in 2004. Survivors include his companion: Dorothy Swisher of Lexington, Indiana; four sons: Jerry Powers & Darrell Cochran both of Lexington, Indiana, Martin Cochran of Scottsburg, Indiana & Lowell Swisher of Charlestown, Indiana; a daughter: Angel Bowling of Austin, Indiana; two brothers: Marvin Swisher of Jeffersonville, Indiana & Marshall Swisher of Florida and a sister: Mabel Miner of Clarksville, Indiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Lowell was preceded in death by a daughter: Nola Michelle Swisher and a grandson: Patrick Powers. Interment at Mt Moriah Cemetery in Henryville, Indiana. Arrangements by: Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
