WIlliam B. Combs, 64, of Austin, Indiana, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on December 31, 1945 in Perry County, Kentucky, the son of the late Bonie and Mae Halie (Deaton) Combs. Bill was a former grounds keeper for Morgan Farms in Austin, Indiana for 35 years and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Judy (Deaton) Combs; four daughters, Tammy Combs of Indianapolis, Indiana, Diana Combs of Columbus, Ohio, Donna Combs of Milton, Kentucky and Linda Combs of Paris Crossing, Indiana; a son, Donny Barrett of Austin, Indiana; six brothers, John L. Dair, Jacie and Robert Combs all of Covington, Kentucky, Hacker Combs of South Bend, Indiana, Archie Combs of Oak Hill, Ohio and Jimmy Combs of Austin, Indiana, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harlan Combs. Graveside Service: 10:00 am on Tuesday at Combs Cemetery. No Visitation: Arrangements by Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
