Erma Elaine McNear of Sellersburg, died on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the Rolling Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on November 8, 1930 in Bainville, Montana, the daughter of the late Everett Earl and Nelly B. (Jensen) Hilling. Survivors include her husband; James R. McNear; two sons, Richard Cook of Mt. Washington, Kentucky and Jim McNear of Elizabeth, Indiana; four daughters, Ricky Jane Kidwell and Kay Coots both of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Diana Owens of Louisville, Kentucky and Barb Atkinson of Salem, Indiana, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Carlton Mitchell Cook and a daughter, Frances Elaine Thomas. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial Contributions: To the family c/o Collins Funeral Home.
