Marie C. Hobson, 92, passed away March 23, 2010 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. She was born October 19, 1917 in Perry County to John Edward and Bertha Esther (Solbrig) Carr, and was of the Catholic Faith. Marie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles E. Hobson of Evansville; two sisters, Evelyn Stephen of Evansville, Marcetis Milton of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Services are 10 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, IN (812) 424-9274, Father Kenneth Herr will be officiating and entombment will follow at Oak Hill Mausoleum.
