Keith "Lucky" Hughes Keith "Lucky" Hughes, 79, of Newburgh passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Cypress Grove Nursing Home. He was born February 23, 1931 to Ayres and Elizabeth (Hamilton) Hughes. Keith was an electrician supervisor at Alcoa for 20 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Newburgh American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Hughes; parents; brother, Wesley Hughes; and sister, Peggy Wilhelm. Keith is survived by his daughter, Cari Hughes Johns (Derek); granddaughters, Nicki Hall, Lacey Kirkwood; great-granddaughter, Ivy Lenko; half-brothers, Jeff Hughes, David Garnett; half-sister, Margena Barton; step- brother, Butch Garnett; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, Indiana. Father Joseph Ziliak will officiate and burial will follow with Military Rites at Plainview Memorial Cemetery in Boonville.
