Sarabell Shank, 90 of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 06, 2010 at Angel River Health & Rehab. She was born July 20, 1919 in Allendale, IL to Edgar and Eliza Belle (Turner) Potts. She was a member of Newburgh United Methodist Church as well the church, Oak Folk Senior Group. Sarabell was preceded in death by her husband Paul Shank in 2000; her parents, and four brothers, Marvin, Roy, Lawrence, and Frank Potts. She is survived by her daughter, Carlotta Shroyer (Don) of Newburgh; one sister, Mary Jane Green; two brothers, Niles and Robert Potts; grandchildren, Troy McLean (Ronda), Michael McLean (Kim), Misty Fritts (Tony), Tommy Davis (Lee); great-grandchildren, Zachary, Kelsea, Noah, Jordan, Miranda, Ashton, Trinity, Zac, Lainey, Tori, and Kimberly. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Angel River Health and Rehab Center for their loving care. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010 at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Simpson Chapel, 510 W. Jennings St., Newburgh, IN (812) 853-8314. Reverend Mark Dicken will officiate. Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum in Evansville.
