John Charles "Jack" McNutt, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Greenwood. He was a resident of Franklin. He was born on April 12, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Herman and Winifred McNutt. He is survived by his companion, Mary Ellen Woods of Franklin. He is also survived by Mary Ellen's family, Andy and wife Dee Woods of Franklin; Steve and wife Shelese Woods of Franklin; Anna and Nicholas Woods and Margaret, Noah and Elizabeth Woods. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a Police Officer in East St. Louis. He was employed by Primus Electronics, and served as the Railroad Division Manager. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Franklin Elks Lodge No. 1818 and a member of the Franklin American Legion Post No. 205. A memorial mass will be conducted on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Health Foundation, Cancer Care Center, 112 E. Jefferson Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131-1917.
