Bernidine (Bonnie) Brown was born February 9, 1943 in Sardis, MS to Percy J. Moore Jr. and the late Sunbeam Moore. She was the proud mother of three children; Keith G. Washington, Kristyn G. Washington, and Jeffrey G. Brown. Bernidine was a 1961 graduate of Froebel High School (Gary, Indiana). She grew up as a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from American Steel Foundries in 2000. In 2000, she became one of the founding members of One Vision in Christ Community Church (Indianapolis, Indiana) where she served as a Church Mother and Trustee. She departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2010 at her home in Bargersville, Indiana. Bernidine was preceded in death by her mother, Sunbeam Moore. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted father, Percy Moore Jr., Gary, Indiana, three children; Keith G. Washington, Indianapolis, Indiana, Kristyn G. Washington, Gary Indiana and Jeffrey G. (Tricia) Brown of Bargersville; three grandchildren, Marquise Washington, Matthew Brown, Danasia Woods, two aunts; Josephine Moore, Earnestine Freeman, three uncles; R.E. Whiting, Robert Earl Whiting, Robert Moore, two devoted cousins; Fred Whiting and Terry Atkins, a godson and goddaughter, Pastor Justin H. Hunter and Jamila Hunter. Rev. Morris Cruse will conduct a service on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at One Vision in Christ Community Baptist Church, 6580 E. 46th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226. Friends may call on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin and on Friday, April 9th from 1:00 p.m. to time of service at the One Vision in Christ Community Baptist Church.
