Mark E. Bowen, 87, Venice, Florida passed away Good Friday, April 2, 2010. He will be buried at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis next to his beloved wife of 33 years, Terry Bowen. He was born in Franklin, Indiana and put himself through college. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and his Masters degree from Cal Tech in Pasadena, Ca. After serving in the Army Air Corp in the mid-forties, he became a CPA and went into full-time accounting. He worked for Ernst & Ernst, Peat, Marwick, & Mitchell, and eventually became Vice President of Finance for the Sargent Paint Company in Indianapolis. He loved Indiana University basketball and Indianapolis Colts football. He was also an avid golfer and tennis player. He was a longtime member and Past President of Woodland Country Club in Carmel as well as a member of St. Paul'S Episcopal Church in Indianapolis. He is survived by sons David Bowen of Tampa, FL, Tom Bowen of Dallas, TX, daughter Mary Jane Wagner of Acton, MA, and five grandchildren.
