Karen Sue Crouse, 56, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born on February 22, 1954 in Columbus, Indiana to Alonzo and Thelma (Stewart) McCain. She married Danny Crouse on October 30, 1976. He survives. Other survivors include her children; Travis Dyer, Trella Dyer, Amy (Crouse) Boughner, Daniel Crouse, Jason Pfaehler; siblings; Darlene Weber, Sandra Elyusuf, Kris Eden, Carl McCain; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in passing by her parents and brother Robert L. McCain. She attended Franklin Community High School. She worked many years as a nurse's aide; She also worked at the Daytime Deli in Franklin. Karen enjoyed camping and fishing and playing games of Yahtzee. A service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 1:00pm at Flinn & Maguire F.H. in Franklin. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 4-8pm also at the funeral home. Burial will be at First Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin.
