Frances Irene Canary, 95, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Homeview Health and Rehab Center in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born on January 16, 1915 in Franklin, Indiana to Stanley Wheeler and Anna Elizabeth Rynerson. She married Orien Canary on November 6, 1971. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her cousins Dick Rynerson (Janet) of Franklin, Mary Rynerson Gillot of Indianapolis, Paul Rynerson of Columbus; Step-sons Gene Canary of Franklin, Jerry Haymaker (Jean) of Ellijay, GA; 6 Step-Grandchildren; 10 Step Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Step Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents and husband. She attended schools in Franklin. She was a homemaker. She worked as an aide at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin in 1970. A service will be conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:30am at Flinn & Maguire F.H. in Franklin. Friends may call from 9:00am until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
