William Patterson Alexander III, born in 1936 in Sumner Co. Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at his residence in Greenwood. He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife of 54 years Nancy Pardue Alexander, son Eric A. Alexander (Julie Grammer); daughter Tonya Alexander Kieffer (Mike); grandsons Eric A. Alexander (Michelle), Aaron M. Alexander; granddaughters Hally M. Breen (Matt), Amy L Gregory (Rob); 4 great-grandchildren, Christian, Bailey, Brianna, and Alexis. He was preceded in passing by his mother Lovelle Balwinski; father William P. Alexander; and half-brother Alex Balwinski. Mr. Alexander owned Alexanders's Mobile Catering A.K.A. Papa Bill's for 47 years, making many friends along the way. He loved boating with friends and family at the lakes; bond fires and parties; He was an avid race car fan and collector of NASCAR memorabilia; He was a hard working, honest man that will be missed by his many friends and loving family. A service will be conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1:00pm at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin. Friends may call on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 4-8pm also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood.
