Jerry Kent Patrick, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at his residence in Franklin. He was born on September 27, 1967 in Franklin to Billy Gene and Linda Sue (Garner) Patrick. They lovingly survive in Franklin. Jerry is also survived by paternal grandmother, Martha Lawrence of Albany, Kentucky; two uncles Roy (Francis) Garner of Jamestown and Jimmy Lawrence of Albany, Kentucky; three special cousins Marsha (Billy) Conner, Marlene (Mark) Robinson and Angela (Mike) Albertson and several other close cousins. He was preceded in passing by his maternal grandparents Johnny and Eura Garner and paternal step-grandfather James Lawrence. He was a 1986 graduate of Franklin Community High School. He received his bachelors' degree from Purdue University in Industrial Psychology and his masters' degree from Butler University in Business Management. Jerry worked for M4Sciences in West Lafayette as Director of Application and Customer Development. He attended Trinity Lighthouse Church. He was a member of the Purdue Club of Johnson County. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends having fun. Friends may call on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North), Franklin, Indiana 46131. Rev. Norman Palmer will conduct a celebration of life service on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time at Pruitt Memory Chapels, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, Kentucky 42629 where friends may call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dixon Cemetery in Jamestown, Kentucky.
