Delta Fleetwood, age 101, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Greenwood. She was a resident of Whiteland, Indiana. Delta was born on July 12, 1908 in Priceville, Kentucky to Alfred and Sarah (Ash) Sullivan. She married Ezra Fleetwood on March 28, 1930. She is survived by two sons Harlen (Juanita)Fleetwood of Indianapolis; and John (Thelma) Fleetwood of Ellington,Florida; daughter Martha (Franklin Medlock of Sweetwater; two sisters Ilene Williams of Beech Grove and Helen Alvena Hunter of Fishers; and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her husband Ezra; daughter Velda Helen Alvey and son Horace Mac Fleetwood. Delta worked at Arvin Industries in Franklin, retiring after thirty-five years of service. Rev. Shan Rutherford will conduct a service on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Thursday, June 17th from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
