L. Mack Kasting, age 70 passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Born December 9, 1939 in Seymour, Indiana to the late Lynn L. and Ruth M. (McCoy) Kasting. He married Judy (Hubbard) Kasting on September 28, 1967. She survives in Franklin. Mack is survived also by son Jerry D. Kasting of Franklin; daughter Kris M. Kasting of Florida; sisters Nancy Corsaro of Indianapolis and Georgia Deaton of Greenwood and sister-in-law Connie (Harry) Leonard of Franklin. He was a graduate of Franklin Community High School. Mack was a lifelong farmer in Johnson County. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin. He was a member of the Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 107, F & AM and a lifetime member of the Franklin Elks Lodge No. 1818. A private family graveside service will be conducted. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors' favorite charity of choice.
